The Sacramento County housing market showed a mix of rising home prices and increasing inventory in August 2026. The median home price reached $547,995, up 1.5% from July, while remaining nearly flat year-over-year. - Inventory: Sacramento County had 2.5 months of housing supply, providing buyers with more inventory than in recent months.
- Multiple Offers: 43% of homes received multiple offers, showing that desirable properties continue to attract strong buyer competition.
- Sale-to-List Price: Homes sold for an average of 98% of their original list price.
- Highest Sale: The highest-priced home sale was $4,000,000.
- Lowest Sale: The lowest-priced home sale was $180,000.
